Since EDA receives filings through each state’s Secretary of State office, we were not receiving these county-level filings. However, as of 2010, the Arkansas Secretary of State is allowing Secured Parties to re-file UCCs at the state level. What this means for EDA subscribers is that as Secured Parties decide to re-file UCCs with the Arkansas Secretary of State, EDA will be adding this data to your Catapult account.. In the interim, Nevada has halted data delivery until they could procure the funding and vendor to perform the redaction process. Two reasons for this decision involve the small number of filings with SSNs displayed and technical difficulties converting paper UCCs to electronic images.
